Range: S and C Europe, W Asia.
Distribution in Bulgaria: Local in the whole country (especially the southern half) up to 1200 m a.s.l.
Habitat: Dry, warm grassy and/or rocky places.
Bionomics: Two generations from May till September. Larval host-plant: Potentilla (Rosaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).
Conservation status: Of no concern. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
