Cupido decoloratus (Staudinger, 1886)
Name in Tolman & Lewington (1997): Everes decoloratus
Range: Endemic to E Europe, occurs from Austia and Slovakia to the N and C Balkan Peninsula and the steppes of Ukraine and W European Russia.
Distribution in Bulgaria: Local from sea level to ca. 1200 m.
Habitat: Dry grassy and/or rocky places in river valleys, on mountain slopes and at forest margins; usually in calcareous terrain.
Bionomics: Two or three generations from May till September. Larval host-plant: Medicago (Fabaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).
Conservation status: Not directly threatened but of conservation interest due to its limited global range which is restricted to E Europe. IUCN category: Lower risk, near threatened.
