Euchloe ausonia (Hübner, [1804])
Range: Italy, SE Europe, Turkey, the Near East, C Asia.
Distribution in Bulgaria: Widespread mostly in the lowlands, but occasionally found up to 1700 m a.s.l.
Habitat: Diverse warm, dry grassy, rocky and/or bushy places.
Bionomics: Two generations from April till July. Larval host-plants: various Brassicaceae (Tolman & Lewington 1997).
Conservation status: Widespread and rather common. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
