One of the goals of my website is to get in touch with as many people interested in the butterflies of Bulgaria as possible. In order to bring the level of knowledge of this insect group up to that of the European Union, which Bulgaria is to join soon, it is imperative that as much distribution data as possible are gathered. I know personally many foreign butterfly enthusiasts who visit Bulgaria and who have shared with me their data, but there are surely many more whom I do not know yet.
